The Post Crack Era: Teachers' Perceptions of Children Born Prenatally Exposed
Abstract
dc:descriptionIt is recommended that policy work in this area not be limited to the educational development of children. Rather, efforts to address this problem should include the specific health care and drug treatment needs of pregnant drug-using women. It is further recommended that school districts adopt an ecosystemic approach for working with children from substance-abuse families with multiple needs.
