An Application of HLM for Modeling Adjustment Growth Curves of Peer-Victimized Children
Abstract
dc:descriptionHowever, disparate trajectories also demonstrated that loneliness and social dissatisfaction do not necessarily co-occur; nor do school disliking and avoidance. For example, trajectories for children in YYNN indicated increasing loneliness, but not a corresponding decrease in social satisfaction, as would be expected. Such findings indicate that different processes may mediate the pathways from peer victimization to loneliness and social dissatisfaction. Theories regarding potential mediators are proposed.
