The fourth research question asked respondents to rate the likely consequences of these uses for community colleges in the areas of student outcomes, institutional productivity, institutional effectiveness, and institutional culture and climate. All four areas had ratings between moderate and strong in the direction of positive impacts, and potential negative impact was rated between weak and moderate.
