Internationalization of Korean Higher Education
Abstract
dc:description"Regarding policy pressures, the government's international policy adoption was not a significant driving force for Korean universities to internationalize their campuses. It has been Korean universities that have filtered and favored particular interpretations of the policy goals and implementation strategies. The term ""internationalization"" itself has worked as a cognitive institution that has pressures universities to implementing international programs. At the same time, the term has been utilized for promoting universities' own public representations. And finally, a struggle between existing and new values and organizational cultures, and a new way of management have been observed in the process of implementation."
