An Analysis of East African Folktales for Children and Young Adults, 1970--2005
Abstract
dc:descriptionAn analysis of the oral and print versions of Luo tales revealed that they have basic and complex plot structures. However, the features of performance and gender perspectives significantly affected the quality and meaning of the folktales. Finally, the major findings, implications, and conclusions were discussed.
