Analyzing Asynchronous Online Interactions Through Social Network Analysis Techniques and Visualizations

Abstract

dc:description

"This study was mainly concerned with theoretical and methodological issues, but it has very practical implications. If instructors are provided with more information about class interactions, they may be able to make judgments about class design. Especially, if they would have this information ""during"" the development of the class, they could act immediately and make the necessary adjustments, for example to integrate somebody that is becoming an isolate in the class."
