A Case Study on the Effects of the Lincoln Foundation for Performance Excellence on Educational Practices
Abstract
dc:descriptionThe purpose of this study was to determine if the Lincoln Foundation for Performance Excellence benefits the educational practices of Illinois school districts. This study examined two Illinois school districts that received the Lincoln Foundation for Performance Excellence Award. The research was conducted by reviewing archival documents of each district, by interviewing district personnel and by conducting focus group interviews. The results of the study indicated that participation in the Lincoln Foundation for Performance excellence process positively affected the educational practices of both schools used in this qualitative case study.
