Talking About Teaching Teacher Efficacy

Abstract

dc:description

The narratives created tensions that stimulated preservice educators to talk about how they would handle the situations articulated by the veteran teachers. The participants agreed that the ideas in the narratives made them think about: (a) possible role dimensions of a special educator; (b) advocacy for students with disabilities; and (c) the need for teaming and networking to check and recheck one's perception of their own teacher effectiveness.
