A Contrastive Rhetoric Study of Korean and English Research Paper Introductions

Abstract

dc:description

It seems that Swales' model is too much based too strongly on niche establishment, including gaps in previous studies, and ignores other possible ways of writing RA introductions. The CARS model is a good writing models and a good tool for the analysis of RAs; however, we might need other models or revisions of the model to describe and analyze RAs written in languages other than English.
