The Econometric Input-Output Model of Jakarta, Indonesia, and Its Applications for Economic Impact Analysis
Abstract
dc:descriptionThe impact analysis of three development events, the Repelita VI, the subway construction, and the new waterfront construction, demonstrated that there are larger economic gains for the economy, other than the achievement of the main purpose of the event itself. The size of economic gains, however, was affected by the deviation of an event to its original plan. It was also revealed that there is relationship between the sectors that receive initial shocks, and the size of each type of multiplier and economic gains.
