Factors Influencing the Formation and Distribution of Cholesterol Esters in Human Plasma
Abstract
dc:descriptionExperiments were conducted to determine the relative importance of factors influencing the lecithin-cholesterol acyltransferase (LCAT) and lipid transfer protein (LTP) reactions in plasma. These two plasma proteins play important roles in determining the formation and distribution of cholesterol esters in plasma.
