Computer-Mediated Communication for Survey Research in Music Education
Abstract
dc:descriptionA survey instrument was constructed in order to test the feasibility of using the Pepper National Music Network for survey research. The content of the survey was designed to determine: (a) the situations and makeup of the group, (b) what, if any, impact was evident in their programs of certain factors identified by music educators in a survey conducted by the National Arts Education Research Center at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Leonhard, 1991), and (c) what attitude did the respondents express toward a Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC) delivered survey?
