The Effects of Atropine Sulfate on Flight Simulator Performance and on Respiratory-Heart Period Interactions (Human, Electrocardiogram, Organophosphorous)
Abstract
dc:descriptionAtropine sulfate is an important therapeutic agent for treating anticholinesterase toxicosis, but atropine also is a strong anticholinergic drug with side effects. Twenty volunteers received a placebo control and atropine doses of 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, and 4.0 mg/75 kg in a Latin Square double blind design, and effects were monitored for 3 hr post-injection.
