dc:descriptionInhibition of insect mixed-function oxidases (MFOs) by phytosynergists (plant compounds that synergize cooccurring toxins), differences in MFO activity and sensitivity to phytosynergists among insect species, and metabolic costs of MFO induction are investigated in a series of experiments.
