Spinal Cord Injury, Life Stage and Leisure Satisfaction
Abstract
dc:descriptionThis study adopts a life-span developmental perspective in an examination of age at onset of disability (in this case, spinal cord injury) and time-span since onset of disability as potential predictors of post trauma leisure satisfaction. Specifically, through utilization of a multi-dimensional measure of leisure satisfaction, incorporating cognitive, affective and behavioral components, it seeks to discover generalizable leisure-related attitudes and behaviors among spinal cord injured persons who have been disabled at different stages in life and/or who are at different points in time post trauma.
