Projections of Information Power and Users' Perception of a Project Control System in a Research Organization
Abstract
dc:descriptionInformation is regarded as a source of a person's power. It is embedded in information interdependency relationships. Matrix Algebra techniques are used to estimate a person's information power. This study investigates the extent to which researchers (users) with different information power perceive differently the importance of a project control system (MIS). The research is conducted in a government research laboratory.
