An Investigation Into the Skills Necessary for the Success of Newly Graduated Engineers in Industry
Abstract
dc:descriptionA study of 94 engineers and engineering managers in 13 companies was conducted to determine what skills engineers need upon entering industry. The study used a structured interview format. The interviews provided information on what engineers typically do in industry and what skills they feel are necessary to accomplish these tasks.
