Allocation of Transportation Investments and Regional Growth: A Multilevel Optimization Framework
Abstract
dc:descriptionThis study is concerned with the allocation of the transportation investments and their impact on the regional economy. Because the relationship between regional growth and the transport sector is highly complex, evaluation of alternative transportation plans should be performed with the aid of models which include among the decision variables not only the supply of transport, but also the level of national and regional economy.
