An Analysis of Traveling - Wave Mixer Structures (Signal Processing)
Abstract
dc:descriptionModels are developed for traveling-wave delay line transfer functions and for Schottky barrier diodes. These are combined to form models of real time convolver devices. These functions are implemented utilizing acoustic charge transport technology, an approach which permits broad band delay lines, nonlinear elements, and active electronic components to be monolithically realized on GaAs substrates. The models are compared to the measured results, and excellent agreement is obtained. This model accurately predicts the transfer functions of convolver devices employing time sampled delay lines.
