The Double Bind and Some of Its Implications
Abstract
dc:descriptionThe purpose of this study was originally to probe the double-bind and the therapeutic models that emerged from an understanding of the psychic malady. To facilitate this the neurolinguistic investigations of A. R. Luria are detailed. This is followed by an analysis of the work of Ludwig Von Bertalanffy and his systems model. There is also an introduction into the research of Roger Sperry and his split-brain patients.
