Factors Involved in the Decision to Adopt Computer-Assisted Instruction in Medical Technology Education
Abstract
dc:descriptionComputer-assisted instruction has been used in nursing and medical education since the early 1960s. Published material concerning the use of the computer has been available in both fields. Since there was a dearth of material on the use of computers in the education of medical technology students, a survey was undertaken to ascertain the extent of computer use in schools of medical technology and the factors that influenced the decision to adopt the computer into the educational program.
