dc:descriptionThis dissertation research focuses on development and evaluation of an efficient solution algorithm for a nonlinear three dimensional urban activity model. Specifically, Kim's urban activity model of land use intensity and transportation congestion is empirically applied to the Chicago metropolitan region.
