Rate analysis of the θ13 neutrino mixing angle for the Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment
Abstract
dc:descriptionWe perform a rate analysis of the neutrino mixing angle θ13 for the Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment. The data were collected from December 24, 2011, to May 11, 2012, during a period of data acquisition when six antineutrino detectors were deployed. After accounting for backgrounds and detector efficiencies and comparing measured rates to those predicted, we estimate sin^2 2θ_{13} = 0.0926 ± 0.0109.
