Design and evaluation of jointed concrete pavement systems incorporating free-draining base layers

Abstract

dc:description

This research is an in-depth investigation of the evaluation and performance of jointed concrete pavements systems incorporating open graded permeable materials as base layers (JCP/OGPM). It addresses a critical need to better understand this type of pavement system which is rapidly becoming a major portion of the newly constructed mileage in the United States.
