The quality of entry-level workers in the printing industry as perceived by educators and employers in Illinois
Abstract
dc:descriptionThe purpose of this study was to investigate the general competencies needed by entry level workers in the printing industry and to determine if those competencies were being provided through printing training programs. The study consisted of a survey of commercial printers and printing educators in Illinois. It was conducted to determine their views regarding level of importance of general competencies needed to be successful and the attainment of those competencies by entry level employees in the printing industry.
