Abstract
dc:descriptionAmplitude analyses of the $D\sp{+}$, D\sbsp{s}{+} \to K\sp{+}K\sp{-}π\sp{+} and $D\sp{+}$, D\sbsp{s}{+} \to π\sp{+}π\sp{+}π\sp{-} Dalitz plots are presented using data collected by the Fermilab high energy photoproduction experiment E687. Our data are fit to a model consisting of a sum of constant and Breit-Wigner amplitudes for the intermediate three-body nonresonant and two-body resonant decay modes. We extract decay fractions and relative phases. These results are used to infer new branching ratios for the D\sp{+} \to \phiπ\sp{+} and D\sp{+} \to \overline{K}\sp*(892)$\sp{0}K\sp{+}$ channels.
