Rectangular microstrip radiator for a multielement local hyperthermia applicator
Abstract
dc:descriptionAdvances in printed circuit technology facilitate the design of thin, conformable, microstrip patch antenna arrays. Such multielement microwave antenna arrays can be advantageous for controlled heating of superficial malignancies during cancer therapy. This thesis reports a theoretical analysis and design verification of the rectangular microstrip radiator for a hyperthermia applicator.
