Circuit simulation models and optical switch structure for interconnection networks

Abstract

dc:description

This thesis addresses two important issues in the development of optical interconnection. One major goal is to develop a set of circuit simulation models in order to enable the simulation of various optoelectronic integrated circuits. Another goal is to develop integrated optical switch circuits with the new impurity induced layer disordering ($I\sp2LD$) technology.
