An object-oriented project management framework for software engineering environments

Abstract

dc:description

The large size and inherent complexity of modern software products have made it difficult to use strictly manual techniques for the management of software production. In this thesis, object-oriented techniques are used to derive a framework for modeling software production. This framework is designed to provide automated support for project management in software engineering environments. The framework can be extended with various management concepts and is also amenable to the integration of other concerns such as configuration management. Using object-oriented techniques has resulted in a simple and easily extensible framework.
