"A study and critical edition of Melchior Franck's ""Rosetulum Musicum"" (1628)"
Abstract
dc:descriptionMelchior Franck (c. 1579-1639) was Hofkapellmeister in Coburg, Germany for the majority of his life. His collection, Rosetulum Musicum (1628), consists of thirty-two vocal pieces with basso continuo. This project consists of an edition of twenty-eight of the pieces and an examination of various aspects of the collection.
