Perceptions of industrial/technology education program leaders regarding minority participation in programs at the collegiate level

The purpose of this study was to obtain opinions of industrial/technology education program leaders at the collegiate level regarding the underrepresentation of minority faculty in industrial/ technology education. More specifically, the study solicited perceptions of program leaders on the impact of the educational reform movement relative to equity issues. Opinions were solicited to determine the extent the program leaders agreed with 10 indicators of equity, the importance of these indicators in administering their programs, and the present level of implementation.
