Testing Correlations Between the Competitiveness Index and a Competitiveness Measurement Game
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThis study tests the ability of behaviors while playing a block-taking variant of a multiplayer Prisoner‟s Dilemma game to predict competitiveness as a trait. This prediction is tested by comparing results from the Competitiveness Index. The convenience sample of students and members of game clubs was drawn from Missouri State University classes and Tabletop Gaming Club, Ozarks Technical Community College classes, and the Springfield Area Gamers Association. The results did not indicate a significant correlation.
