Key Steps and Strategies for Successful Revision in First-Year Composition

Abstract

dc:description.abstract

The revision process can be a difficult task for First-Year Composition students. This capstone project examines how FYC instructors can teach the most effective revision strategies (both individual and collaborative) to help students develop skills in revision. How should students reflect on their work? What is the best way to facilitate peer review? These are some of the questions that are explored throughout my research.
