Μελέτη των σχέσεων μεταξύ των φυσικοχημικών παραγόντων υγειονολογικού ελέγχου και της ολικής μικροβιακής χλωρίδας υδάτινων οικοσυστημάτων: Εφαρμογή στην λίμνη Παμβωτιδα
Abstract
dc:descriptionThe relationships existing between the total microbial flora and a certain number of physicochemical parameters in a fresh-water ecosystem, is the subject of the present study. The seasonal and daily fluctuation was also investigated. Over November 1985 - October 1988 water samples were examined for the following parameters: Water-temp., pH, conductivity, D.O., B.O.DS, C.O.D., NO₃⁻, NO₂⁻, PO4⁻³, Chlorophyll-A, CL2, C.F.U/ML. Findings suggest that the population of microorganisms is directly proportional to the organic load and the retention time. Nutrients, CHLA, TEMP. and pH were also found to have a significant influence of the microorganism’s number. It was noticed that there is a seasonal and diurnal fluctuation. Our results also indicate a pollution problem of the lake which becomes very serious during the summer period.
