The seasonal and daily fluctuation was also investigated. Over November 1985 - October 1988 water samples were examined for the following parameters: Water-temp., pH, conductivity, D.O., B.O.DS, C.O.D., NO₃⁻, NO₂⁻, PO4⁻³, Chlorophyll-A, CL2, C.F.U/ML. Findings suggest that the population of microorganisms is directly proportional to the organic load and the retention time. Nutrients, CHLA, TEMP. and pH were also found to have a significant influence of the microorganism’s number. It was noticed that there is a seasonal and diurnal fluctuation. Ταυτόχρονα μελετήθηκε η εποχιακή και ημερήσια διακύμανση των προηγούμενων παραγόντων. Αναλύθηκαν δείγματα λιμναίου ύδατος την χρονική περίοδο Νοέμβριος 1985 - Οκτώβριος 1988 ως προς τις εξής παραμέτρους θερμοκρασίας νερού, pH, αγωγιμότητα, D.O, B.O.D., C.O .D., NO₃⁻, NO₂⁻, PO4⁻³, CHLA, CL2, C.F.U/ML. Από τα ευρήματα προκύπτει ότι: Ο αριθμός της ολικής μικροβιακής χλωρίδας παρουσιάζει άμεση θετική συσχέτιση με το B.O.D. Καθοριστικοί παράγοντες είναι επίσης η ποσότητα της οργανικής ύλης, ο χρόνος παραμονής της, η θερμοκρασία και το pH. Σημειώνεται σημαντική εποχιακή και ημερήσια διακύμανση.
