Abstract

dc:description.abstract

1. At Nasiriyeh, all the available evidence points to the SAND FLY, probably PHEBOTOMUS MINUTUS, as the transmitting agent of ORIENTAL SORE. 2. O the various methods of treatment employed, the INTRAVENOUS INJECTIONS OF TARTAR EMETIC seems the best for bases of multiple sores and CURETTING in cases of single sores and in cases where the number of sores is limited.
