Successful Implementation of Laptops in the Classroom: An Implementation Plan

<p>The purpose of this project is to develop an implementation plan for schools that are incorporating laptop computers into the classroom. Research was conducted through an extensive literature review; a survey of school policies, programs and interviews with three educators at school sites with extensive laptop usage. The conclusions of the research include the necessity of proper planning, training and curriculum integration. The findings are presented in an implantation manual that details best practices, considerations and recommendations. The manual is divided into sections including: Overview, Overall Considerations, Distribution, Training, Technical Support Issues, Policies & Procedures and Conclusions.</p>
