Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe subject for this DIP is Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), specifically altruism and civic virtue. The first chapter is the introductory chapter containing the statement of the problem, purpose of the study, research question, aim of the DIP, definition of relevant terms, and methodological overview. The second chapter is the literature review that highlights workplace deviance behavior (WDB), OCB, altruism, and civic virtue. The third chapter is the methodology with an overview of the research design, participants, data collection procedures and tools, data analysis, methodological integrity, and ethical considerations. The fourth chapter is the results and findings with an overview of the coding and theming process, a discussion about the emergent themes, and a discussion about how the themes work together to answer the research question. The fifth chapter is the conclusions and recommendations with an overview of the overall study, the implications of the findings, and recommendations for future application and academic exploration.
