The Wall We Need: The Necessity for Judicial Hostility Towards Religion and Mistakes Made by the Supreme Court Regarding the Separation of Church and State
Abstract
dc:description.abstract<p>In 1952, in a case held to permit early release of students from school in order to attend religious study off campus, the Supreme Court of the United States declared that, “[W]e find no Constitutional requirement which makes it necessary for government to be hostile to religion.” This Thesis argues the opposite: that government hostility towards religion is, in fact, necessary, both Constitutionally and for prudence’s sake.</p>
