Bis(dialkylamino)cyclopropeneimine Substituted Proton Sponge Derivatives: Synthesis, Theory, and Application
Abstract
dc:description.abstractThe work presented herein describes the synthesis, as well as the experimental and theoretical investigation of hitherto unknown cyclopropenimine containing compounds, mostly within the proton sponge backbone. The properties of these molecules are discussed in the context of other proton sponge derivatives reported in the literature. The superbasicity, catalytic activity, and fluorescent nature of these cyclopropenimine derivatives are also investigated and discussed.
