The results show that 30% of patients were men and 70% women, aged 23 - 80 years. Of these, 37 presented HA, 17 were normotensive and in four there was no measurement. Higher prevalence of overweight in normotensive patients (58%) was observed, unlike the hypertensive (17%). There was a significant difference showing that hypertensive individuals consume more vitamin A than normotensive. With respect to the consumption of the same gender showed no significant difference. The ratio of Vitamin A with hypertension and obesity has not been fully clarified, if need, therefore more studies to elucidate whether there is a relationship entity the two, as is ne cessary guidance on the consumption of this vitamin, minimizing their consequences lack.
