A resolução de problemas como recurso para o ensino da matemática no 6º ano.

This work is the result of a field survey in order to verify the importance of teaching problem solving as a strategy for teaching mathematics students from the 6th grade of elementary school Jacinta Municipal School Keys. This study is supported by theoretical and expressive work proposal submitted permits to affirm the existence of methods that are well implemented, will certainly help in the development of the student's reasoning and therefore, the teaching-learning process, especially the class of 6th grade. The final conclusion allowed highlight the main aspects of the research that significantly improved student learning.
