Agricultura de beira de estrada: estudo preliminar sobre práticas de agricultura na faixa de domínio da rodovia estadual PB 008 – João Pessoa/distrito de Jacumã.

The brazilian agrarian structure is marked by the large concentration of land and there is historical roots that intensify at the moment of agribusiness valorization as the main way of the field development. So, like that grows up the need of workers and social movements to access and possession of land. At Paraiba this events are observed on the occupation and use of marginal lands on the roads as alternative occupation of small rural producers and jobless on the borders of PB – 008 road. Analyzing the contradiction of this process the study was based on theorical readings and after in practical works about behavior rural workers; Between the fences of private acres and the roads, we have the mean of rural labor, the blokes who works and the way as they use the lands shows the weight that the land has while mean of production / survival. It is in this context that we find the situation of the field in Paraiba, where it’s not different of the others states in our country, they live in a complicated situation.
