Aspectos anatômicos de órgãos vegetativos (folha e caule) de Dioclea grandiflora, e sua importância química e farmacológica.
Abstract
dc:description.abstractDioclea grandiflora Mart. ex. Benth. family Fabaceae, subfamily Faboideae , is a kin d of Brazilian Cerrado and Caatinga, popularly known as mucuna, velvet bean seed and de - ox - eye, is used in folk medicine against prostate and kidney disorders. It is highlighted by the presence of flavonoids and prenylated methoxylated and triterpenes, wit h analgesic, antiarrhythmic and anxiolytic. This study aimed to characterize morphology, anatomy and histochemistry of leaves and stems of Dioclea grandiflora , to establish parameters for quality control of drugs. The collected material was fixed and subje cted to the usual techniques of anatomy, for optical microscopy analysis, complemented by histochemical tests. As for morphoanatomy, Dioclea grandiflora has epidermis walls with foliar anticlines adaxial surface curves straight, and curved slightly in the abaxial, hipoestomática, paracíticos, rare anisocíticos and linking anomocíticos, glandular trichomes and tectores; mesophyll dorsiventral; Board revoluto; main rib and the vascular system biconvexos, with a sheath of sclerenchymatous cells surrounding vas cular cylinder; angular tissue. Peciólulo displays the contour semicircula. The vascular system is formed by a single side beam wrapped in circle, involving the spinal cord parenchyma. The vascular Cambium, 2 - 3 - strata, separates the xylem phloem; The petio le has concave - convex contour, with tissue of angular type. The vascular system is of type three collateral vascular bundles arranged in form of semiarco, being more centralized and two in the upper extremities. The stem is cylindrical, hair, with the epid ermis tissue uniseriate, ring, with sifonostélica structure continues ectoflóica, sclerenchymatous fibres beam circling all stem structure, druses and sparse in the cortical parenchyma prismatic crystals. In Histochemical analysis was obtained from the ind icative of the presence of phenolic compounds and Terpenoids. The data provide subsidies for the characterization and quality control of species studied, which may assist in drug control and in the production of herbal medicines.
