Os desafios e expectativas do ensino do raciocínio proporcional no ensino fundamental.

This paper presents the results of a survey, whose main objective was to analyze the proposed development of the content of proportionality in the textbooks of the 6 th to 9 th year of elementary school, the collection more widely adopted in my city - Conde, PB. The book is an important working materials for teachers and students for consultation, we seek through this analysis, to see whether the proposed activities are consistent with the guidelines of the National Curriculum Guidelines and the author we have adopted in our theoretical framework (Van de Walle , 2009). We conclude, based on our analysis, that textbooks make up a suitable evolutionary approach throughout the collection, the concept of proportionality, with diversified activities, many of them related to everyday situations and continuously seeking to mobilize the student's prior knowledge on the subject . We consider as the main negative aspect of the collection, the fact that the contents are presented according to a sequence based on traditional definitions, examples and exercises.
