A utilização de jogos no ensino da matemática como instrumentos de aprendizagem no 5º ano do ensino fundamental.

The objective of this research consisted in checking the extent to which an educational intervention, through games, is positive, the construction operations with natural numbers. Participated in this study two groups of fifth grade of elementary school, a total of 28 children in the School Hall João Silvano. It was applied in the subjects in order to assess knowledge and conceptions about the use of games in teaching mathematics. The educational intervention consisted of four hours in classes that used the material was gold. The quantitative data analysis has shown that the subjects of this sample presented a satisfactory performance in the use of this instrument, which involved operations with natural numbers. It was observed that the item that asked five students the opportunity to enjoy recreational activities with more frequently in mathematics classes, the median presented as the highest of all the averages, indicating statistical significance and acceptance activities applied . It can be said according to the results obtained through the intervention of games allowed significant developments in the subjects studied, both in construction operations and in developing new strategies for resolution that involves operations with natural numbers.
