Emphasize that the school library serves as a center of educational resources , integrated with the teaching-learning process and aims to develop reading and information. Examines the issue of Marketing and Endomarketing applied to private institutions of school libraries in the municipality of João Pessoa. The methodology consisted of exploratory articulated character with field research , with five (05 ) managers of these school libraries in elementary school in João Pessoa- PB . The data collection instrument was a questionnaire containing open and closed questions .Points out , as a marketing tool that creates and adds value to the procedures adopted in the institution . We conclude that there is not a full planning and actions supported in marketing practices that promote and advertise their products and services . We recommend that guidelines for the implementation of the marketing information units studied , in order to facilitate access of the target audience and enhance the performance space of the librarian and the dissemination of information space which is widespread knowledge and professional are outlined own librarian.
