Abstract
dc:description.abstractThis work aims to analyze reports of mothers and / or guardians of children with disabilities, aged between (zero to five years old), in the quest for access, characterized in this work by the registration and permanence in the education system. This paper will also present a brief history of the process of inclusion of people with disabilities, including early childhood education and knowledge around the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN, 2006), in which defends the motto is: Nothing about us without us, considering the right guaranteed by the Constitution (BRAZIL, 1988) endorsed the Law of Guidelines and Base (BRAZIL, 1996) and the conventions related to persons with disabilities. This research is guiding question: How could access to early childhood education of his / her son / daughter with disabilities? To answer the question this research articulates reflection on the issue of inclusion of children with disabilities in the city of João Pessoa. Thus, it seeks to present the voices of mothers and / or guardians in their advocacy for the right to free public education and the struggle for a more inclusive society, giving visibility to the path taken by these people in their search for jobs in Early Childhood Education Centers References - CREIS.
