Educação financeira: um estudo sobre o conhecimento dos discentes de Ciências Contábeis

This monograph aims to report if the students of the course of Accounting Sciences of the Federal University of Paraíba use their knowledge acquired in the classroom to make decisions. This shows how the courses offered by the course contribute to the management of your personal finances. For that, a descriptive survey was carried out, with a quantitative approach, allowing, with this tool, a better approximation of the daily life of the individuals who participated in the sample. The accounting course of the UFPB has 820 students with active enrollment, but 300 were interviewed to obtain the data analysis of the present research. The study found that 73.33% of those interviewed usually make periodic control of their finances , 20% do daily, but unfortunately 6.67% of the interviewees do not control. According to the data collected it is observed that a large part of the interviewees acquired their knowledge of finance in the university. Demonstrating the importance of related disciplines on the financial environment that the university offers.
