Prova: fugir ou enfrentar, eis a questão estudo sobre a percepção do aluno frente à avaliação

This study brings an important discussion topic when it comes to learning assessments, the perceptions not of teachers but of individual learners in front of them. The study presents relevance from the established objectives, which it is to compare the perceptions of learners, of public and private schools, facing evaluations, it sought to identify, relate and describe the differences between schools typology. Two instruments for data collection were used, a questionnaire of sensations and perceptions in front of the evaluations and a scale of self-concept. As a result, through statistical analysis a relevant difference between the schools was perceived, where students of public school showed a low level of self-concept, i.e., their expectations are lower about their capabilities in the assessments, and the students in private schools have an inferior self- concept in a behavioral aspect. Thus, the raised hypotheses handle many different factors being them, structural, social, emotional, methodological or cultural, these will form interesting discussions in the future about building assessments focused on the reality of learners.
